PAST UPDATES:

  • Downer EDI Works have been awarded contract for streetscape and public realm improvement works, which include the Carnarvon St and Dampier Tce upgrades commencing this month (September 2018). To read the full story, please click here.

  • On 3 September 2018, Harby Studios ran a marketing workshop for Chinatown Traders. This workshop covered low cost marketing initiatives that could be implemented during and post construction.

  • The RFQ for the Carnarvon Street and Dampier Terrace street works is currently being advertised and we expect to have a contractor on board by August 2018. A detailed program for the construction works will be developed with the preferred contractor and we will be keeping you informed as this progresses, however a key focus will be to stage and schedule the works to prevent disruption to business.

  • Project planners and managers walked around town week commencing 25 June 2018 to chat to traders about upcoming works in their area.
