The new Roebuck Bay Lookout at the corner of Dampier Terrace and Frederick Street will be the first project to start construction and is out for tender in February 2018.
Funded by the Shire of Broome and Tourism WA and with design input from Nyamba Buru Yawuru, the project will provide the community and visitors with sweeping views of Dampier Creek and Roebuck Bay and provide a new attraction to bring people into Chinatown.
It is expected that the lookout will also significantly improve the amenity of the previously delivered Dampier Terrace – Frederick Street road connection.
