Broome's Roebuck Bay Lookout Officially Opens

Tourism Minister Paul Papalia was in Broome today to officially open the Roebuck Bay Lookout, an elevated platform enabling visitors to enjoy sweeping views over Roebuck Bay while learning about the culture and history of the area.

The lookout, which was completed in November 2018, is located at the intersection of Dampier Terrace and Frederick Street in Chinatown, within the Shire Road Reserve. 

Construction of the lookout formed part of the $12.7 million Chinatown Revitalisation Project, delivered jointly by the State Government and the Shire of Broome.
