The Chinatown community will host its very own Easter celebrations on Saturday 31 March.

Kicking off at 8am, there will be a host of FREE activities on offer at Sun Pictures on Carnarvon Street, including: Easter Egg Hunt, face painting, arts and crafts, colouring competitions, a jumping castle, balloon artists – even a visit from the Easter Bunny!

There will be locally baked hot cross buns available, and Mollie Bean will be on-site providing coffee all morning.

For the bigger kids, a host of local musicians will be playing live sets at the Dragonfly Café, Runway Bar and Restaurant, Green Mango Café and Shady Lane Café from 8am – 10am.

Don’t forget to check out Chinatown’s specialty stores – there’ll be plenty of specials on offer all weekend too.
